Harsh Goenka finds his doppelganger in Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde, posts humorous pic amid Maharashtra crisis

Shiv Sena is navigating hot waters with rebel MLAs under Eknath Shinde’s leadership threatening to topple Uddhav Thackeray’s reign. They claim that they want Shinde as their top boss and the chief minister of the state, which means that the Maharashtra government is truly facing a tough challenge at the moment.
However, that did not stop industrialist Harsh Goenka to look at the lighter side of the currently unfolding political crisis. Since Eknath Shinde is currently camping out in Guwahati with the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs as the political crisis unfold in Maharashtra, Goenka recently took to Twitter to share a photo of him and that of Eknath Shinde and wrote, “In Guwahati, if anyone wants to reach me”

In the photo, Goenka looks uncannily similar to Shinde, as both can be seen sporting a face-full of beard, and a tilak on their forehead. Goenka’s followers are loving this bit of humour as situation intensity in Maharashtra, and the government drown in more complicated negotiations and conversation.


Goenka's followers also loved the funny spin. one follower wrote that he didn't know that the industrialist had a doppelganger in the Shive Sena MLA.

Another follower pointed out that he/she is happy to know that someone has a sense of humour, since it is in short supply in Maharashtra. Others however were not happy that the industrialist chose to make light of a situation that threatens to harm the democracy.
Shinde who climbed up to power in Shiv Sena after starting his career as a worker in beer brewery in Thane, and then being an auto rickshaw is hoping to reach the magic number (which is 37 MLA's support), that will catapult him to power.
Amid the rebellion led by Shinde, that has put Maharashtra government in a tough spot, Maharashtra Chief Minister Thackeray left the official residence 'Varsha' in South Mumbai and moved to Matoshree, his family residence. The party workers showered flower petals on Thackeray and the chief minister delivered an emotional speech too.
