#HappyDiwali: Twitter goes live with customised 'diya' emoji
People across the world can use this emoji by using #HappyDiwali, #HappyDeepavali and #Diwali hashtags.

Earlier, a poll was created to vote for the colour the users prefer.
"We are crowdsourcing an emoji for #HappyDiwali in order to bring people closer and celebrate together the triumph of good over evil," said Keya Madhvani, Head of Lifestyle and Culture Partnerships, Twitter India in a statement.

The emoji was made live and available to use from October 28, after a 48-hour long voting process.
