Happily ever after! A Vrindavan-themed wedding for Corum Hospitality's Mihir Desai
Corum Hospitality co-owner Mihir Desai, who owns a popular chain of resto-pubs in Mumbai, tied the knot with fiancée Disha Mehta in a Vrindavan-themed wedding at a suburban five-star hotel, late last week.

The lavish affair was inspired by a Bollywood movie set with the ‘Sajan Kot’ (family lunch) table decorated with fl owers brought in from abroad, Desai revealed. The bride, an entrepreneur, whose family comes from the construction and chemical industry, met Desai through a family meeting.

And what’s a wedding without some spectacle? For the wedding reception, a percussion band was arranged for music along with aerial chandelier performers, carnival dancers and pianists.

Considering the groom is from the hospitality industry, it came as no surprise that the wedding and reception menu boasted of a variety of cuisines, with a separate banquet dedicated exclusively to desserts. The couple also cut a five-tier wedding cake from a French patisserie.
