Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the highest-grossing movies of 2026. It has earned a staggering Rs 329 crore so far worldwide. The movie’s producer, Ragini Sona, believed Neem Karoli Baba’s blessings may have played a role in the movie’s stupendous success. In an interview with SCREEN Magazine, Ragini recalled how she met the saint’s daughter, Girija ji (Amma ji), before the film’s release to seek her blessings.

She also stated how Girija watched the film several times and cried her eyes out.

She also revealed that Girija followed the teachings of her father to the T. She bore a striking resemblance to the late Baba, and like her father, she too is very generous. The producer enjoyed a delectable meal at her home and felt a sacred presence.


“Before making the film, we didn’t even know that Baba’s daughter was still around. And when we met her, we saw that she is a total replica of Baba. I felt like it was Baba himself in her. She also abides by Baba’s teachings, ‘Love all, feed all.’ The food we had at her place tasted so divine, and its quantity would automatically increase. I could very strongly feel Baba’s presence there,” she said.

Who Is Girija Bhatele Ji?

According to a Sunday Guardian report, she is the only daughter and the youngest child of renowned saint Neem Karoli Baba. Before becoming a celebrated saint, the Baba, then known as Lakshman Narayan Sharma, married and had three children – two sons and one daughter.

Girija Bhatele Ji apparently opted for a modest family life rather than pursuing public notoriety, despite her father being a respected saint. She continues to exemplify Maharaj-ji's teachings of humility, dedication, and selfless service, according to her devotees. Several biographical sources state that Girija Bhatele Ji is wed to Jagdish Bhatele.

Over the years, relatively little information about the couple's personal lives has been made public because they have led a secluded life. Sandeep Bhatele is Girija Bhatele Ji's only son, according to recorded records.

He has generally avoided the spotlight, just like the rest of the family.
