The film also recorded an improvement in theatre occupancy over the weekend. Its overall occupancy reportedly rose from 12.2% on Day 71 to 21.2% on Day 72. It screened across 360 shows on Saturday, compared with 352 shows on Friday, and recorded 24,669 footfalls during the day.

Why is Hanuman Ansh's OTT release delayed?
Despite its extended theatrical run, the film's digital premiere remains unconfirmed. Viewers waiting to watch Hanuman Ansh from home will have to wait for an official announcement, as the makers have not confirmed either a streaming platform or a release date.According to reports by Esquire India, producer Ragini Sona has addressed the questions surrounding the film's OTT release in her interview with The Indian Express. Streaming platforms have reportedly approached the makers with offers, but no deal or premiere date has been publicly confirmed.
The delay appears to be linked to the film's continuing run in cinemas. With the film still attracting audiences after 72 days, the makers are reportedly keen to give it more time on the big screen before taking it to digital platforms.
For now, Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar and other streaming services cannot be confirmed as its OTT destination. Any platform name or release date circulating without an official announcement should be treated as unverified. The makers are yet to share a confirmed digital release schedule.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand. The devotional drama follows the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba and explores his beliefs, teachings and emphasis on compassion and service to others.
The film has so far outperformed expectations at the box office, grossing well beyond its reported production cost worldwide. Its performance has also impacted the makers’ plans for its theatrical window.
Reports suggest the team is looking at a 100-day run in cinemas before a digital release. Sona has reportedly supported director Vishal Chaturvedi’s wish to keep the film in theaters for a longer time period so that it can continue to reach audiences on the big screen.
If the filmmakers adhere to this reported plan, an announcement regarding the OTT release may follow as the theatrical run continues. That said, the 100-day goal isn't a specific streaming date and the team will ultimately decide the release date according to their official plans.
For now, Hanuman Ansh continues its theatrical journey, while its digital release remains awaited.
