Hanuman Ansh continues its remarkable box office run, surpassing Rs 263 crore in India gross collections.

The box office has witnessed some unexpected successes this year, with films finding audiences well beyond their opening-day expectations. One such surprise has been Hanuman Ansh, which has maintained a strong theatrical run weeks after its release. The Neem Karoli Baba film continues to add to its impressive collection, while Mirzapur The Movie is also drawing audiences in its second week. The latest numbers show the two films moving closer in the domestic box office race.

Hanuman Ansh nears Mirzapur The Movie

The film's sustained performance has put it within striking distance of Mirzapur The Movie in terms of India gross collections. As of Day 13, Mirzapur The Movie had recorded total India gross collections of Rs 233.23 crore and India net collections of Rs 195.78 crore. Its final India collections are yet to be reported. With Hanuman Ansh continuing to add several crores to its tally, the gap between the two films has narrowed considerably.

Hanuman Ansh becomes a surprise box office hit

What makes Hanuman Ansh's theatrical journey particularly striking is its modest production budget and low opening. Made on a budget of just Rs 2 crore, the film opened with approximately Rs 10 lakh. It subsequently witnessed a remarkable turnaround, earning crores on a daily basis and eventually crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in India. The film's popularity has extended beyond ticket sales. Its music has also gained significant traction on social media, with numerous reels and videos being created around its songs.

Who stars in Hanuman Ansh?

Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as Neem Karoli Baba. The film was released in theatres on August 7, 2026, and follows the life and spiritual journey associated with Neem Karoli Baba. Its continued box office performance has made the film one of the year's notable surprise successes, particularly considering its opening-day numbers and relatively small budget.
