GVK Power and Infrastructure's VC Sanjay Reddy makes son Keshav proud

Today is a nostalgic day for Sanjay Reddy, vice-chairman of GVK Power and Infrastructure Limited. As revealed by his son Keshav on Facebook, Reddy will be a commencement speaker at his alma mater — the Ross Business School, part of the University of Michigan.

In his FB post, Keshav writes, "It's historic that he turned 50 this year and it has been 25 years since he graduated from his MBA program from Ross." Reddy's wife Aparna tells ETPanache that she and her son, also a Ross Business School alumnus, are accompanying Reddy. "Both Sanjay and Keshav are excited. Considering that I was by Sanjay's side during his Michigan days, I couldn't miss his talk," she says.

For the last 15 days, Reddy has been working on his speech. He has even run it by his family and friends for feedback. "The dean of the college will host a dinner for us, but there are no other celebrations," says Aparna.
