Mahindra, Madhavan floored by Mumbai Police reply to 'lovelorn' man who tweeted how he could meet his girlfriend in lockdown
The tweet was noticed by many on the social media platform.

The Mahindra Group chairman gave a virtual pat on the back to the men in uniform as the city police navigated a 'lovelorn' man's queries seeking suggestions on stickers that could help him step out and drive across town to see his girlfriend.
The 65-year-old industrialist quote-tweeted the original message, with applause emojis, calling it the "human—and humorous—touch from our very own @MumbaiPolice."

— anand mahindra (@anandmahindra) 1619082725000R Madhavan, too, was floored by the tweet. And the actor, who is in prep mode for his forthcoming film - 'Rocketry'- hit the Like button on the tweet.
"Ha ha ha, very well put and I am sure equally well received," the 50-year-old actor, wrote.

— Ranganathan Madhavan (@ActorMadhavan) 1619083665000And Mumbai Police, too, had a filmy comeback of sorts, doing a wordplay on the his latest film with this reply: "We hope so too - it's no 'Rocketry' after all."
'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', which is Madhavan's next big release, is a biographical drama based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former rocket scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Narayanan made headlines when he was falsely charged with espionage and arrested in 1994. He was acquitted by the Supreme Court in 1998.
The tweet posted by Mumbai Police in response to Ashwin Vinod's 'love' woes garnered a lot of buzz online as he sought suggestions on stickers that can help him drive across town to see his girlfriend, whom he has been "missing" dearly.
However, what this person had to ask the cops surely wasn't something that the Mumbai Police was anticipating. "What sticker should I use in order to go out and meet my girlfriend? I miss her," Ashwin Vinod posed on Twitter.
We understand it’s essential for you sir but unfortunately it doesn’t fall under our essentials or emergency catego… https://t.co/7WrT1CcXAA
— Mumbai Police (@MumbaiPolice) 1619077205000The Mumbai Police's reply won Twitter, yet again. This is the second time in the week that their Twitter handle has given us lol-worthy content to lighten the mood in such trying times. Earlier, the Twitter handle had a special message for people on "420" as they gave a new meaning to "wake & bake" with the hashtag 'HoshMeAao'.

— Mumbai Police (@MumbaiPolice) 1618891780000For those who are unaware, 4.20 is an inside term that stands for smoking marijuana and April 20 each year is globally celebrated by those who smoke up or consume cannabis. So on the occasion, the social media account of the Mumbai Police rolled up (get it?) with a post that turned out to be a massive hit amongst netizens for its witty sense of humour.
