American Traveller’s Praise for Gurugram’s Cyber Hub Wins Internet Approval
A US YouTuber has caught the internet’s attention after expressing amazement at Gurugram’s Cyber Hub, calling it “better than America” in a now-viral video. The content creator, known online as Van Boys, shared his experience on social media, where he filmed himself exploring the upscale destination. The video shows him impressed by the clean surroundings, contemporary architecture, and an array of international dining options, including popular US chains like Chili’s.

In his commentary, the traveller said India is often misrepresented internationally, with too much focus on overcrowding and poverty. While acknowledging that air pollution is an issue, he emphasised that Cyber Hub showcases a modern and developed side of the country. He likened its stylish design and vibrant energy to Miami, noting that it surpassed many places he had seen back home.

A Different Perspective on India

The YouTuber compared Cyber Hub’s urban landscape to major American cities, pointing out its sophisticated infrastructure and bustling atmosphere. He praised the variety of restaurants, shopping outlets, and the overall organisation of the area. He also remarked on the welcoming crowd, describing the local women as beautiful and the environment as far more polished than many might expect from stereotypical portrayals of India.

His Instagram caption further highlighted his surprise, stating that India’s “clean shopping outlet” was even better than Miami’s offerings. The post drew attention for challenging long-standing perceptions and showing a side of India that rarely makes global headlines.

Positive Reactions from Viewers

The video quickly gained traction, with many Indian social media users appreciating the acknowledgement of the country’s modern urban hubs. One viewer commented that it was refreshing to see a foreigner appreciate India’s developed areas, while another expressed pride in seeing Gurugram represented in such a positive light. Several people echoed the sentiment that India is far more beautiful than often portrayed, apart from some overcrowded city spaces due to population density.
