If you’ve been following Biocon MD Kiran Mazumdar Shaw on Twitter, you’d know that Bengaluru traffic is one of her pet peeves. But if you thought regular tweets about traffic snarls were completely justified, she has news for you — Boston is worse.

Recently, India’s richest self-made woman entrepreneur tweeted to complain about the nightmarish gridlock she experienced during her trip to the city. “Boston has the worst traffic gridlock I have ever seen. Shaw’s tweet set-off a tidal wave of user suggestions and claims on the worst cities to be plagued by traffic congestion. Manila, New York City, Montreal , Los Angeles , New Delhi , Kathmandu and Pune were some of the special mentions that made it to the discussion.
