Greece wedding for Faering Capital's Aditya Parekh

If the corner office at HDFC is vacant at the moment, it’s because Deepak Parekh and family are away in Mykonos for the wedding of Aditya, Parekh’s elder son. Last year, the family celebrated younger son Siddharth’s wedding to his English-American girlfriend, Claire O’Neil, in Jodhpur. Aditya’s wedding is expected to be graced by less than 100 guests.

Aditya, 37, co-founded private equity firm, Faering Capital, with Sameer Shroff, a former Morgan Stanley executive. This is his second marriage. He was previously married to Alice Ku. Mykonos, with its clear, blue waters and white beaches, is a favourite summer hotspot for international celebrities like the Kardashians. However, it is an unconventional choice as far as wedding venues for Indians go. Former publishers Rita and Karl Mehta had hosted their daughter Faarah’s wedding on the island in 2012.
