Google’s new project, called the "Accelerated Mobile Pages Project," is aimed at loading mobile web pages instantly instead of requiring consumers to wait several seconds to open a story.

The platform, which is in a test format and will be available to the public at a later date, includes dozens of publishing partners around the world, including the New York Times, Washington Post, BuzzFeed and Vox Media.
