After weeks if not months of speculation, rumours and leaks, the D-day is finally here. Google is dropping its latest offerings, the Pixel 4 and 4 XL today, at the Google Event being held in New York City. The word on the street is that in addition to dropping the Pixel phones, Google might launch the Pixelbook 2, Google Nest Mini and Google Pixel Buds 2.
Google has already sent out invites for the event in New York City. The tagline of the event states, 'Come see a few new things Made by Google'. If rumour mills are to be believed, Google has taken the specs a notch higher. Pixel 4 is likely to come with a Face ID and might also have an orange variant.

Google Nest Mini, the second generation Google Home Mini, is tipped to come with a wall mount, aux jack and better sound. What's more? We might as well get a Pixelbook 2! Pixelbook 2 will reportedly come with a 4K display and more colour options. Pixel Buds 2, on the other hand, are likely to go completely wireless.
Pixel 4 and 4 XL are packing high-end features. In addition to running on Android 10, they also have motion sensors along with a dual rear camera.
The anticipation on social media has peaked with tech enthusiasts marking their calendars and setting alarms for the mega-event. To begin with, users need to connect with WiFi to setup certain features of the device. An already embedded eSIM lets users setup a connection as soon as the device is powered on.
It facilitates quick transfer of data from previous devices with the help of Quick Switch Adapter. It comes up automatically as the device is logged in and can also be done with a USB-C to USB-C cable. After this, users can proceed with the setup while the transfer takes place in the background. The device supports transfer from iOS 8 and higher, and Android Lollipop and higher.
