Google's October gig saw the tech major unveil the much-anticipated Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, along with a few other products, at its 'Made by Google' hardware event in New York on Tuesday. In a simultaneous launch across Paris, London, Tokyo and Singapore, it showcased an upgraded Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with revamped cameras, design, processor.

The phones, that come in two sizes, will be available in three colours - Just Black, Clearly White and Not Pink colour options.

The 3rd-gen Pixel 3, 3 XL have a larger screen-to-body ratio than their predecessors, along with a glass front and back & an edge-to-edge display.

The Pixel 3 sports a 5.5-inch OLED display, while the Pixel 3 XL comes equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED display & a notch. Both run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 4GB of memory. They’re both available with 64 or 128GB of storage.

There is no microSD card slot, nor is there a headphone jack. They have wireless Qi charging, are IP68-rated for water resistance.

The Pixel 3 comes with a 2915mAh battery, while the Pixel 3 XL’s battery is 3430mAh. Both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL share camera hardware, too.

The front-facing camera is a dual 8-megapixel camera with varying apertures, & the main camera is 12.2-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

The Pixel Slate is a tablet device with Chrome OS, a 12.3-inch Molecular Display screen.

The Pixel Slate boasts of dual front-facing speakers, a fingerprint sensor, and two USB-C ports, though the latter is necessary because there is no headphone jack.

It integrates with smart home gadgets to control and schedule those devices based on your routines, and it will contain Voice Match to cater to different members of your family.

Google Pixel 3 specifications
Google Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) flexible OLED screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back, with a pixel density of 443ppi. The device sports an Aluminum frame with Hybrid coating, soft touch glass at the back.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the Google Pixel 3 comes with 4GB RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone comes in either 64GB or 128GB capacities without a support for microSD card.

The Pixel 3 smartphones come with exclusive in-camera Google Lens suggestions that work in real-time on URLs, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and QR codes. Google Pixel 3L specifications
There is not much difference in the specifications between the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3L. The notable difference, however, is in the display size and battery. The Pixel 3 XL has a 6.3-inch QHD+(2960 x 1440) flexible OLED with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR support and 100,000:1 contrast ratio.

The smartphone is backed by a 3430mAh battery with fast-charging support. Google claims that both can work for up to 7 hours with 15 minutes of single charge.
