Google joins Wordle mania, customises search panel with a special treat
The search engine giant received a lot of love from Wordle fans worldwide.

The tech giant surprised the word puzzle game's fans when a special feature showed up on its search engine. Every time a user searches for 'Wordle', Google displays a creative animation on the left-hand corner of the search page.
Various words like GOALIE and COLUMN start appearing, mimicking Wordle's pattern. The text colour changes to green when “GOOGLE” shows up.
The California-based company has received a lot of love from Wordle fans for its simple, yet thoughtful, feature.

— Navneet Nair (@navneetdesigns) 1643003442000The original Wordle game had just 90 daily players in November last year. It has now crossed over 3 lakh daily players, and is fast growing via various social media platforms.
Wordle is like a crossword and can only be played once a day. Every 24 hours there's a new word of the day, and it's up to you to figure it out. Wordle gives players six chances to guess a randomly selected five-letter word.
If you have the right letter in the right spot, it shows up green. A correct letter in the wrong spot shows up yellow. A letter that isn't in the word in any spot shows up gray. You can enter a total of six words.
The browser-based word puzzle game, created by Brooklyn-based software engineer Josh Wardle, has been a meteoric rise since the launch.
The name of the game is a wordplay on the creator's last name. Wardle initially created this game for his puzzle-loving partner.
Recently, Wardle and Steven Cravotta, who is behind the similar Wordle! app, joined hands to give back to society.
