Google I/O 2018: Here's what you should be most excited about
There are several big-ticket items that Google will address and that definitely includes Android P.

Will it be the year of the Pumpkin/Pistachio/Popsicle? Android P is this year's big update for the platform. There have been rumors that Android P will move away from traditional navigation in favor of a gesture-based system similar to the iPhone X, and if this is something Google's really working on.
Android Auto
The Android Auto is set to get a brand new media experience. The app also notes that some of Waymo’s latest announcements, like the Jaguar I-PACE and some of its other vehicles, will also be on display at the event.
Android TV has been around for a few years, and last year an Android O version was unveiled. A new, 4K Chromecast-like Android TV dongle may be released which would include the full TV interface and possibly a remote.
Google Home
Also, more recently, Google launched two more Google Home speakers: Home Max and Home Mini. It is expected that the company will address its Google Home line and maybe even announce new features for them.
Google Assistant
Move over, Siri, Google Assistant is officially coming to iPhone. Google's competitor to Alexa is only a year older but is growing more useful every day.It is expected that the company will further enhance what Google Assistant can do and announce these updates at I/O.
