Google I/O 2018: Google Assistant can soon make complex calls, book appointments
What if Google Assistant can call a salon on your behalf and set an appointment? The demo is straight out of science fiction, we hear Google’s human like voice calling a salon, interacting with the operator, it even uses 'umm' and 'ah' and discusses to find a sweet spot to fix an appointment. Sundar Pichai declares that this a collective effort of using all their technology muscles including machine learning, natural language processing and AI to help people in real world.
