Google Glass 2015: Would it be second-time lucky?

So Google Glass is being drubbed as one of 2013's biggest tech failures. But Arvind Sanjeev, the Indian who was inspired enough by it to create his own version of the Glass, says there's hope yet. "I did think that Google Glass doesn't have good use for our daily life. It would be beneficial for sectors like medical and industries. For now, it's being flaunted for live streaming video."

The 23-year-old Kochi-based inventor of SmartCap adds that another of Google Glass's weak points is that it obstructs an individual's privacy. So what makes for great wearable tech? "Design and feel are the best parameters. People will only wear something if it is stylish and sleek," says Sanjeev, listing Moto 360 as his personal favourite.
