Goodbye ties that bind, say hello to office casuals
As Infosys announces a more relaxed dress code, menswear designers Nimish Shah and Ken Ferns reference global CEOs to offer some stylish tips:

It's all about finesse

Shah "We think even in a casual dressing atmosphere, it's important to create a hierarchy through what you wear. A CEO can't do casuals the same way an intern would. It's not about flaunting brands, but the finesse of dressing in this case."

Sporty & trendy

Ferns "For Zuckerberg's denim-hoodie-sports shoes look, team sports trainers or loafers with formal pants. That gives the entire look an edgy feel."

Neutral palette

Ferns "Keep it neutral. Like Evan Spiegel, who wears T-shirts with messages. But don't wear offensive or crude messages."

Layer up

Shah "A crisp shirt with a vest thrown over or a tee layered with another shirt or formal jacket, a la Napster's Sean Parker, also looks great. It has a formal edge to it."

One word: Pullovers

Shah "Denims with a pullover on top, the look championed by Quora's Adam D'Angelo, is simple but effective. The pullover hides whatever you're wearing underneath, so it's a huge time-saver."

Go sockless

Shah "Aaron Levie of Box loves his colourful sneakers and funky socks but if you can pull it off, go for sockless shoes with chinos and a tee."
