The actress, known for her vibrant screen presence in films like Race and Musafir, is embracing the season of cashews in her own sprawling garden. With ripe cashew fruits dangling from trees and baby nuts sprouting, Sameera is immersing herself in nature, savouring the simplicity of harvests and homegrown produce.

Cinema fans know Sameera for her memorable roles in hits such as Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Taxi No. 9211, and Race, alongside an extensive career in Tamil and Telugu films. Since marrying entrepreneur Akshai Varde in 2014, she has settled in Goa with their son and daughter, fully embracing a lifestyle away from the city bustle.

She detailed that harvesting kicks off in January and February, when the cashew fruits transition to shades of red and yellow before naturally falling to the ground. Spring brings the Urrak season, celebrated for its fresh, lightly alcoholic drink made from the cashew apple. By mid-March through mid-June, the prized raw green cashews, known locally as Bibbe, become available.

The actress didn’t stop at just the timeline—she also shared intimate glimpses of her thriving cashew trees, including baby cashews just beginning to sprout. Through her posts, fans could see how the cashew apple ripens fully before dropping, oozing its natural juices, while the nut itself readies for processing.

Professionally, Sameera is gearing up for her next release, the horror-thriller Chimni, where she takes on the role of Kali.
