Gionee Elife E8 launched in India for Rs 34,999
The Elife E8 is an upgrade to the much popular Elife E7 and brings in a host of upgrades over its predecessor.

The E range of devices from Gionee have always focused on great camera experience. The Elife E8 is an upgrade to the much popular Elife E7 and brings in a host of upgrades over its predecessor. It sports a new 24MP sensor with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. The camera also offers lossless zoom functionality and can record video in 4k resolution. Gionee has also included a hardware shutter button on the side for ease of use. Front camera is a 8MP autofocus unit for selfie enthusiasts.
With a removable plastic back, the Elife E8 is a dual SIM device with support for Indian 4G bands. It has a 6-inch amoled screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and runs Amigo 3.1 user interface based on Android Lollipop. The user interface has been optimized for India with support for 9 local languages and 1400 India city weather updates.
Hardware specifications include 2Ghz octa core Mediatek Helio X10 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 3,520mAh non removable battery with fast charge support. Other features include fingerprint sensor, microSD slot for expansion, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB host, accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensor and compass. For audio there are dual speakers powered by Hi-Fi audio with DTS audio.
The phone will be available from 12th October 2015.
