Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar defends Jacqueline Fernandez, denies she had a role in money-laundering; says gifts were out of love
Conman Sukesh has expressed displeasure over pictures of him and the actress on social media.

In the letter, Sukesh has reiterated that he was in a relationship with the ‘Kick’ actress and requested that the actress should not be portrayed in a bad light. He also stated that the gifts that he gave were out of love and that she had no role in the money laundering activities.
The letter purportedly written by Sukesh indicates that he continues to maintain that he was in a relationship with the actress despite the actress denying it.
Admitting his relationship with the actor, Sukesh said that all the money and gifts that were exchanged between the two were benign as it was supposed to be between two people in a relationship and there was nothing illegal in it.
"It's really sad and disturbing to see private pictures being circulated, which I have got to know through news the whole of last week. It's a complete violation of one's privacy and personal space. As I have mentioned before I and Jacqueline were in a relationship. Seeing each other and the relationship was not based on any kind of monetary benefits like the way it's projected, commented and trolled in a bad light. The relationship has lots of love and respect for each other without any expectations. Kindly requesting everyone to stop projecting her in a bad way, as it's not easy on her, who has only loved without expecting anything. I have mentioned before that she has no involvement in the ongoing money-laundering case," read the letter as per a report on IndiaToday.com.
Incidentally, the letter comes ahead of a supplementary charge sheet that is going to be filed against him in the case soon.
While Sukesh continues to claim that he had given gifts to Jacqueline, the Enforcement Directorate(ED) on the other hand maintains that the expensive gifts were to the tune of Rs 8 crore that was proceeds of crime.
