Style advice from Nick Harrison: Get a haircut, junk the piercings
Nick Harrison, co-founder, Slink & Bardot, shares his style tips and slips with ETPanache:

My Style
It is easy and casual all the way. I figured out my sartorial staples early on and have stuck to them.

Style change
I am not going to lie — when I first came to India, I was all about the Ali Baba pants (tourist ‘discovering India’ garb). Thankfully, that look is long gone and probably won’t be resurrected again. Trousers in fun colours are probably the most recent development in my wardrobe.

Can’t live without
Comfortable, wellfitted, V-neck T-shirts, a casual blazer to throw on over T-shirt and jeans for transition, a go-to formal jacket, a leather jacket, trainers that easily transition from casual to fun-formal.

Go to look
A solid coloured T-shirt (it’s mostly black or white lately) with a comfortable pair of jeans and trainers. I’m on my feet a lot so comfort is key.

Prized possession
A paperboy hat that I recently bought in Montreal because it always takes me back to a great day.

Brand speak
Probably an Ecko hoodie. I’m not big on brands — whatever looks good and can keep up with my pace.

Must have
A good shoe-shine kit.

Best style advice
Cut your hair and take off your piercings.

Celeb style
I think Gordon Ramsay’s style is good because he’s got the T-shirt game down right.
