Generation gap! Parag Milk Foods' Devendra Shah & daughter Akshali have very different working styles

The generation gap is a divide that’s sometimes too big to bridge, even in the corporate world. Take the difference in working styles like that of Akshali Shah, vice president of strategy planning, sales &marketing of Parag Milk Foods, and her father, chairman, Devendra Shah.

But it doesn’t mean they don’t make a good team.

The father-daughter duo shares a lot of similarities in the way they approach business, but people management skills isn’t one of them. Her father, Akshali says, is empathetic towards situations and people, while she admits to being more goal oriented.


“He’s more of a people’s person. I would look at one aspect and concentrate on one thing, while he would be multitasking and doing various things at one go,” she says.
