Suits and Shoes: I’d highly recommend the classics to one and all. My suits are from traditional cutters in Paris or Mi lan. I wear double-cuff shirts by Turnbull & Asser or Charvet. I also like Rathore and My shoes are usually Berluti.

Restaurant: Le 1947 in France. chef Yannick Alléno’s menu of traditional Alpine dishes with a contemporary twist is nothing short of pure genius.

Movie: Vertigo, Ev ery frame of this Hi tchcock classic is crafty, duplicitous and a masterpiece. Rashomon and Mahanagar are a close second.

Book: Chef Daniel Boulud by Assouline. the book is a celebration of Daniel, one of the greatest restaurants in the world, and has memories of my eating years in New York Ci ty.
