Some are fixated on planes, while others love the romanticism of trains. Fashion brand Gap's CEO Oliver Kaye, who hails from London and is now based in Bengaluru for his new role, lived in Mumbai between 2008-2010, when he was with Calvin Klein. Unlike most expats who find it difficult to adjust to Mumbai's humid weather, the 39-year-old reveals he highlight of his day?

"Travelling from Bandra to Churchgate by the local train. Fellow passengers were kind enough to involve me in their card games and pampered me," says Kaye. "My friends and I used to hang out in the nightclubs or at house parties till 3 am in Bandra, so coming back to India with Gap is a delight." Kaye's tryst with India though began almost a decade ago, in his 20s, when he backpacked through Rajasthan, Agra, Mumbai and Kerala. Perhaps the experiences have helped him understand the Indian shopping psyche better.
