Game of Thrones producer Frank Doelger launches fantasy series 'The Perished Land'

LOS ANGELES: Frank Doelger, one of the producers of " Game of Thrones", has joined up with "Rome" producer Jonathan Stamp on an ambitious new fantasy series set in a fictional, tribal world.

" The Perished Land", which Doelger and Stamp will co-write, is set on the fictional world of Talanton. It is described as a primitive, tribal world where human and supernatural forces interact, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Rainmark Films will produce with Germany's Hofman & Voges and Beta Film. Beta will handle international sales.
