Funnyman Jimmy Kimmel to host 2016 Emmy Awards
LOS ANGELES: Funnyman Jimmy Kimmel will be returning as host for the 68th Emmy Awards, having fronted the ceremony four years ago.

"I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday Sept 18," the 48-year-old TV host tweeted to his followers confirming the announcement.

"Until then, have a great summer," he added.

Kimmel follows previous Emmys hosts Andy Samberg (2015), Seth Meyers (2014) and Neil Patrick Harris (2013).

This year's ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. NDS NDS
