Jaideep Ahlawat’s journey is closely tied to the support of his father, Dayanand Ahlawat, a farmer from Haryana. When Jaideep decided to pursue acting and apply to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), his father stood firmly by his side. In an earlier interaction, Jaideep recalled how his father had a practical approach, he encouraged his son to follow his passion but also reassured the family that farming was always an option if things didn’t work out.

Manoj Bajpayee
Manoj Bajpayee grew up in Belwa village in Bihar, in a family where farming was the primary source of livelihood. His father, Radhakant Bajpayee, worked hard on a small piece of land, often dealing with challenges like unpredictable weather. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the Family Man actor described his father as a lower-middle-class farmer who struggled daily to sustain the family. Although his father initially wanted him to become a doctor, he eventually supported Manoj’s decision to pursue acting, paving the way for one of Bollywood’s most acclaimed careers.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Born into a farming family in Uttar Pradesh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s journey to stardom was anything but easy. He was the ninth child in his family and became the first graduate from his village.
