From Souza and Husain to Picasso, your chance to own an artefact by the masters

The 'Quantums of History' by ArtDeal features treasures from the country's culture and history, and has on offer antiques certified by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) including centuries-old miniatures that have the provenance of the Royal Family of Kota in Rajasthan.

Canvases and paper works by exemplary artists like Pablo Picasso, F N Souza, S H Raza, K G Subramanyan, Tyeb Mehta, M F Husain, Manjit Bawa, Ramkumar, B Prabha, Anjolie Ela Menon, Paresh Maity find a place here. Priced between Rs 1,00,00,000 - 1,50,00,000, the show-stopper is a collage by M F Husain that takes you through moments in his life with photographs and text.

Also forming part of the collection are four works by K G Subramanyan, nudes by Akbar Padamsee & Krishna Hawlaji Ara, and two still life works depicting blooming flora in vases by Ara.

Works by the legendary Sayed Haider Raza in the 'bindu' tradition namely Tadpan and Bindu- Panchtatva, both acrylic on canvas along with an early impressionist landscape on paper, a large aluminium sculpture, and an erotic work, oil on board by the genius are other unique attractions. The artist's top notch works are on a higher selling point too at Rs 70,00,000 - 80,00,000.
