From Rajinikanth to Amitabh Bachchan, high praise for Modi's black money move

With historic decisions come monumental reactions.

In a move to curb the black money menace, PM Narendra Modi declared that currency notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denomination will not be legal tender..'these will be just worthless pieces of paper'.

In a sudden, televised address to the nation in the evening, the Prime Minister said: "India has taken a historic step to fight corruption, black money, terrorism and counterfeit currency."

With a decision like this, naturally the country has erupted with visibly long queues across the nations of people either purchasing or depositing money.

The impact has been so great, that even Bollywood, who are usually mum on ‘impact matter’, have been quick to react and mostly support the ‘bold move’ by the Prime Minister.
