From Heartbreak to IIT Bombay. Telangana student Shiva's inspiring story goes viral: 'He lost....'

Shiva, a determined student from Telangana, has transformed a childhood marked by heartbreaking loss into an inspiring story of perseverance and academic success. Despite enduring unimaginable hardships from an early age, he never allowed his circumstances to define his future. Through relentless dedication, resilience, and the encouragement of compassionate mentors, he has earned admission to IIT Bombay's prestigious B.Tech programme in Computer Science, one of the country's most sought-after engineering courses. His remarkable achievement was highlighted on X by Vikas Alwys, who shared Shiva's extraordinary journey.

Shiva delivered an outstanding performance in the highly competitive JEE Advanced examination. He secured an All India Rank of 211 in the Open category and an impressive All India Rank of 24 in the OBC category, demonstrating exceptional academic ability and years of disciplined preparation.

His path to success, however, was filled with personal tragedy. Around eight years ago, he lost his mother, Jyothi, after she battled serious health complications. Just two years later, another devastating blow struck the family when his father, Srinu, passed away while cleaning an underground drainage system after reportedly suffocating during the hazardous work. The heartbreaking incident left Shiva and his sister without either parent, forcing them to confront life as orphans at a very young age.


During this difficult period, their maternal uncle, Nomula Nagaraju, stepped forward and accepted the responsibility of raising both children. Understanding their potential and determination to study, he ensured they received the care and stability they desperately needed. Their educational journey received another significant boost when school correspondent Amarender Reddy recognized Shiva's exceptional academic promise. He extended financial assistance, arranged accommodation, and encouraged him to continue pursuing excellence despite overwhelming challenges.

As Shiva's talent became increasingly evident, Narayana IIT Academy in Raviryala offered him a full scholarship, allowing him to prepare for the demanding JEE examination without worrying about financial constraints.

Fueled by unwavering determination, countless hours of hard work, and the generosity of people who believed in his abilities, Shiva ultimately fulfilled his dream of studying Computer Science at IIT Bombay. His inspiring journey proves that determination, resilience, and an unshakable ambition can overcome even the most difficult beginnings, reminding everyone that success is shaped more by inner resolve than by one's circumstances.
