According to a leading food delivery service in India, as a nation, we love chicken biryani — for lunch, dinner and snacking. The analysis is based on millions of orders received on the popular platform from the period of December 2017 to November 2018. Here are some other findings from the analysis.

.. When it comes to eating healthy, cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai topped the list. But other cities were making healthy choices too as fruit juices were consumed five times more than aerated drinks.

.. Bengaluru and Hyderabad along with Kolkata were the best planners when it came to their meals. The cities ordered their meals up to 36 hours in advance. What were the most ordered items? Chicken biryani, masala dosa, and paneer butter masala.

.. Food and entertainment go hand-inhand so it was no surprise that during the IPL, fast food items such as pizza, French fries and ice-cream were the most ordered, with a 50 per cent increase since the last year. Tender Coconut Ice-cream was the flavor of the year.

.. The earliest order came from Coimbatore at 6 am and latest one came in at 4:37 am from Delhi.

.. Chicken biryani, chicken fried rice, dal makhani, tandoori chicken, French fries, jeera rice, kadai paneer and butter chicken were what people craved during the late night.
