'Friends' cast reunites, Matthew Perry missing

While the news of " Friends" reunion getting cancelled made many fans upset but the recent development about the show will surely bring smile on their faces. Yes, the much awaited reunion finally happened. Though one of the prominent stars Matthew Perry from the iconic show, was missing from the party but he had a pre-recorded segment for the special moment. The 'Friends' stars David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow reunited at the NBC taping of Must See TV: A Tribute To James Burrows.


It was also a case of the coming together of two steller shows on Sunday night (January 24). The cast of 'The Big Bang Theory' met the stars of "Friends" at a gala dinner for director James Burrows, in Los Angeles. Perry, who couldn't make it to the gala party had previously announced on "The Graham Norton Show" that he wouldn't be present at the taping due to a play that he's working on in London. His presence was replaced with " The Big Bang Theory" cast members Mayim Bialik, Kunal Nayyar, and Melissa Rauch in the photo above, from Johnny Galecki. Though fans will look at this as a reunion but "Friends" star, David Schwimmer confirmed that special was a tribute to the director alongside stars of his other shows and this was not a "Friends" reunion special.
