Friedhelm Hutte, the global art head of Deutsche Bank was in town

Friedhelm Hutte, the global art head of Deutsche Bank, has given many dignitaries a tour of the bank’s massive art collection, including paintings, photographs and sculptures. However, the one guest that he will never forget is the former German chancellor Helmut Schmidt, when he came visiting the bank’s Frankfurt offi ce along with the British culture minister. Naturally, the tour had to be conducted in English, but at one point, Hutte mispronounced 'generation' and was instantly corrected by Schmidt. Hutte says that the admonishment from Schmidt made it the most unforgettable tour he had ever given.

Hutte was in town to oversee the global exhibition 'Time Present' at NGMA that showcases 70 selected works from international photographers and one Indian photographer, Dayanita Singh, from Deutsche Bank's personal collection.
