Bhooth Bangla – Netflix
Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan reunite after 14 years for this horror-comedy. Streaming on Netflix from June 12, Bhooth Bangla follows Arjun Acharya, a London-returned NRI who inherits a mysterious palace believed to be haunted by a ghost known as Vadhusur. Things take a chaotic turn when he decides to host his sister's wedding there. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar and Jisshu Sengupta.
Dridam – JioHotstar
Malayalam investigative thriller Dridam marks the feature directorial debut of Martin Joseph. The film stars Shane Nigam as Vijay Radhakrishnan, a newly appointed Sub-Inspector who believes he has landed a quiet posting. However, a series of murders and a bank robbery soon throw him into a high-stakes investigation. Dinesh Prabhakar, Krishna Prabha, Saniya Fathima, Shobi Thilakan and Kottayam Ramesh also feature in the cast. It will start streaming from June 12.
Raakh – Prime Video
For fans of dark crime dramas, Raakh offers an intense investigative thriller inspired by real-life events. The film stars Ali Fazal as rookie police officer Jayprakash, whose pursuit of dangerous criminals turns into a deeply personal and disturbing journey. Netflix's latest drama series, The Polygamist, is based on a novel by Zimbabwean author Sue Nyathi. The story revolves around Joyce Gomora, a successful social media influencer whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel after her husband's secret relationships come to light. The series stars Gugu Gumede and Sdumo Mtshali and explores themes of betrayal, power and family dynamics.
Norway: The Dark Horse – Netflix
Football fans can catch Norway: The Dark Horse, a two-part documentary chronicling Norway's return to the FIFA World Cup after a 26-year absence. The documentary offers behind-the-scenes access to stars including Erling Haaland, Martin Odegaard, Alexander Sorloth and Antonio Nusa as they prepare for football's biggest stage under coach Ståle Solbakken.
Every Year After – Prime Video
Based on Carley Fortune's bestselling novel Every Summer After, this romantic drama follows Percy and Sam, childhood friends whose bond deepens over several summers before a life-changing secret drives them apart. Years later, a tragedy brings them back together. The series stars Sadie Soverall, Matt Cornett, Aurora Perrineau, Abigail Cowen and Elisha Cuthbert.
FIFA World Cup 2026 – ZEE5
The biggest sporting event of the year is finally here. The FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off on June 11 and will stream in India on ZEE5. Hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico, this edition features an expanded 48-team format, promising more matches and greater global representation. The opening match sees hosts Mexico take on South Africa, while the final is scheduled for July 19.
Suriya's action drama Karuppu makes its digital debut on Prime Video just 28 days after its theatrical release. Directed by RJ Balaji and co-starring Trisha Krishnan, the film arrived in cinemas on May 15 and quickly generated strong buzz. The movie will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, making it accessible to a wider audience across India. Start streaming from June 12.
