Dhurandhar – Netflix
Dhurandhar makes its digital debut on January 30 and brings back Ranveer Singh in a hard-hitting action avatar. The film follows a top-secret intelligence agent tasked with infiltrating the dangerous Lyari underworld. Directed as a high-stakes espionage thriller, the story loosely weaves together real-life incidents such as the IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, and Operation Lyari. The 214-minute-long film also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The makers are yet to confirm the release date.
Bridgerton Season 4 – Netflix
The world of corsets, ballrooms and whispered scandals returns with Bridgerton Season 4, streaming from January 29. This season shifts focus to Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, and introduces a new romantic arc starring Yerin Ha. The story explores the tension between fantasy and reality as Benedict finds himself torn between a mysterious woman and Sophie, a maid working in his household.
Daldal – Prime Video
Based on Vish Dhamija’s bestselling novel Bhendi Bazaar, Daldal premieres on Prime Video on January 30. The crime thriller stars Bhumi Pednekar as DCP Rita Ferreira, a newly appointed police officer haunted by past trauma. As she investigates a series of brutal killings, Rita also finds herself confronting systemic corruption and her own inner struggles. The series delves deep into the psychology of crime, power and morality, making it a compelling watch for thriller fans.
Take That – Netflix
Music lovers can tune into Take That, a three-part documentary series that dropped on January 27. The docu-series traces the British boy band’s 35-year journey, from meteoric success and internal conflicts to their eventual reunions. Featuring fresh interviews with band members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, the series also includes rare archival footage and personal recordings.
Sarvam Maya – JioHotstar
The Malayalam supernatural comedy Sarvam Maya arrives on JioHotstar on January 30. Starring Nivin Pauly, the series follows an atheist musician whose life takes an unexpected turn when he is forced to participate in his family’s priestly rituals. Things get stranger when he encounters a spirit with no memory, leading to an unusual bond that helps both go through their personal struggles.
Devkhel – ZEE5
Marathi psychological crime thriller Devkhel premieres on ZEE5 on January 30. Set in a remote Konkan village, the series follows Inspector Vishwas Saranjame as he investigates mysterious deaths occurring during the Holi Pournima festival. While villagers believe the incidents are acts of divine punishment, the truth appears far more sinister.
