Citadel Season 2 – Amazon Prime Video
The much-awaited second season of Citadel premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 6. The spy thriller continues the story of elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh as they take on the dangerous Manticore faction, which threatens global control.


The series stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci and Ashleigh Cummings. Packed with action, espionage and high-stakes missions, the new season picks up directly from the dramatic events of the first installment.

Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros – JioHotstar
After enjoying a successful theatrical run, Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros started streaming on JioHotstar on May 8. The Malayalam coming-of-age comedy-drama had a strong box office performance and moved close to the Rs 100 crore mark within days of release.

Directed by Savin S.A. and written by Vipin Das, the sequel continues its fun and emotional storytelling style from the first film. The movie is available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi, making it accessible to a wider audience across India.

Dacoit: A Love Story – Amazon Prime Video
Dacoit: A Love Story began streaming on Amazon Prime Video on May 8 after releasing in theatres in April. The neo-Western action drama stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles.

The film brings romance, revenge and action together against a rugged backdrop. Along with the lead pair, the movie also features Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in important roles. The film is currently available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, while the Hindi version is expected to release later.

Remarkably Bright Creatures – Netflix
Netflix released Remarkably Bright Creatures on May 8. Based on Shelby Van Pelt’s bestselling novel of the same name, the emotional drama tells the story of Tova Sullivan, a grieving widow who forms a surprising bond with a highly intelligent octopus named Marcellus.

The film stars Sally Field as Tova Sullivan, Lewis Pullman as Cameron, and Alfred Molina lends his voice to Marcellus. The movie explores themes of healing, loneliness and unexpected friendship in a warm and emotional narrative.

Bharatanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam – Netflix

Malayalam dark comedy thriller Bharatanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam also premiered on Netflix on May 8. The sequel brings back Sasi and his family as they once again try to hide the secrets surrounding their fraudulent ancestral temple.

However, fresh blackmail threats and dangerous situations soon complicate their lives further. The film stars Saiju Kurup, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagadish, Vinay Forrt, Baby Jean, Kalaranjini and Sreeja Ravi.

Lukkhe – Amazon Prime Video
Set against the backdrop of Chandigarh’s rap culture, Lukkhe premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 8. The crime drama series explores ambition, rivalry and underground tensions in the city’s growing music scene.

The show stars Raashii Khanna, rapper King and Palak Tiwari in lead roles, with Shivankit Singh Parihar and Lakshvir Singh Saran appearing in supporting parts. Combining music with crime and drama, the series aims to bring a fresh urban story to OTT audiences this week.
