Spain has a new champion, Garbine Muguruza, the 22-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish tennis player, who won the French Open defeating Serena Williams. Many of Rafael Nadal’s fans have their hopes pinned on Muguruza, hailing her as the successor to Williams.

Another thing that Muguruza has in common with the injury-stricken Nadal is a love for cooking. Muguruza reportedly likes to sing, dance and cook. She, however, has specific cooking preferences. “I only cook sweets. Anything with sugar, not with salt. Cakes and cookies. Oreo brownie is the best one,” she said in an interview. If her kitchen game is anywhere close to her court one, she must be whipping up a batch of winners.
