Former Swiggy delivery agent is now a runway model, inspiring journey goes viral

From a humble food delivery agent to an Internet heartthrob and seasoned model, Sahil Singh has come a long way. The former Swiggy delivery agent has now become a social media sensation thanks to his fairytale-like journey from the streets of Mumbai to magazine covers and ramp shows. Taking to Instagram, the Mumbaikar shared his story.

In a video, he revealed that he had worked for two years; he had worked as a delivery executive for Swiggy, worked as a chef at Burger King, and as an employee at Mango Tart before embarking on a modelling career.

The video amassed an astounding four million views, captivating social media audiences. Among those who reacted was actress Riddhima Pandit, who expressed her admiration by sharing clapping emojis. One user remarked, “This guy transitioned from serving food in restaurants to serving looks as a model.” Another user shared their thoughts, saying, “What frightens me is that we often remain uncertain of our true calling. One moment we’re dedicated to one path, and the next, we’re exploring an entirely different career.”

“You’re such an inspiration! Keep pushing forward, keep striving,” another Instagram user commented. Just last month, a video of an artist from Northeast India, struggling in Mumbai, stirred conversations online. The young man, who works as a Zomato delivery agent, gave a tour of his Rs 500 room in a Mumbai slum, which led many on social media to offer assistance.

The video has gone viral on Instagram, gaining more than 225K likes.

Yet, Sahil is far from the first model to emerge from modest beginnings. In 2022, renowned photographer Arjun Krishnan noticed a young girl selling balloons at the Andalur Kavu festival in Kerala. Captivated by her appearance, he captured stunning photographs of her.

When he showed the pictures to the girl and her mother, they were thrilled. Arjun later shared the images on his social media platforms, where they quickly went viral, leaving people eager to learn more about the beautiful balloon seller. Following the viral sensation, Kisbu was offered a makeover and a photoshoot. With the help of a stylist named Remya, Kisbu transformed from a balloon seller into a model. The transformation was remarkable, and Arjun shared another video showcasing it. This video also went viral, garnering over 800,000 views on Instagram.
