Ford presents the Ole Yeller Mustang inspired by the P-51D Aircraft
Just like the plane, the car features a custom yellow exterior with Ole Yeller badging. It also houses unique carbon fibre components.

Be it a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, almost every luxe automobile brand has created a masterpiece car inspired by jets. Ford continues this trend with the stunning new Ole Yeller Mustang.
The American automobile giant is inspired by the yellow P-51D Mustang aircraft, which is one of the most recognisable planes in the world. Ford has created a similar luxury car with a sporty look and power to benefit Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) youth education programs. Here’s more about this yellow masterpiece: Besides paying a tribute to the iconic Ole Yeller jet that holds a prop plane record for coast-to-coast travel, the car is also dedicated to the pilot Bob Hoover.
Hoover is considered to be the founding father of modern aerobatics. The new car is part of the long-standing association between Ford and the EAA. Previously, the brand has created eight one-of-a-kind automobiles for auction.

Under the hood, this car derives its DNA from the limited edition Shelby GT350 Mustang. It features a 5.2L Ti-VCT V8 engine that offers 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. This engine is complemented by 6-speed manual transmission and a specially tuned sport suspension.
At the EAA gathering, this new Ford Ole Yeller Mustang will be auctioned to support youth education programs, which is aimed at empowering young aspirants to become engineers, aviators, astronauts, scientists and innovators. It will be auctioned at the Gathering of Eagles on July 28 at EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
