For the love of movies: When CouponDunia CEO hacked Amazon Fire TV sevice
Sameer Parwani has amassed a library of HD movies for home streaming, through service that is still not 'available in India'.

Parwani says he accesses the streaming content from India through a US IP. "It’s a lot of work because I have to redirect my connection through a proxy server to use it," he says. But Parwani prefers to look at the upside. "I don’t need to worry about downloading content anymore. I can directly connect and start watching movies and TV shows of my choice. Almost all movies and television shows are available on Amazon, so I have access to a lot of content," he says.
He bought the streaming box on Amazon in the US about a year back. With the device, he likes watching movie trailers before their India-release to find out how Amazon users rate them. The experience of the device, he says, is quite unique since there is nothing similar to it in India at the moment. "It’s a convenient box that you can hook up to your TV directly and need not do anything else. With Netflix you need to download their app to be able to access the content and Chromecast is a bit of a hassle to set up. Amazon Fire TV is much easier to use," Parwani says.
