For car-rental firm Avis India CEO, cycling is a passion

He runs a company that rents out cars, but Sunil Gupta is a fan of two wheels.

The CEO of Avis India says cycling is a passion. It works out well for the sociable boss.

“Cycling is both an individual sport, where one can push oneself harder against one’s past benchmarks and can also be enjoyed in the company of likeminded cyclists,” he says.


Where does he take his cycle out for a spin?

“Gurugram,” he says, adding, “The city has a flourishing cycling culture. There are many cycling clubs and a variety of terrain. There’s also metaled roads with steep gradients like the Faridabad Express way or many off-road tracks in the Aravallis.”
