Welspun group heiress Radhika Goenka wants to surprise her parents with entrepreneurial abilities

One would expect Radhika Goenka, the 24-year-old heiress of the Welspun group, to have been inundated with business advice from her parents.

But the young lady, who recently turned entrepreneur with her own venture says that aside from basic dos and don’ts she wanted her parents, BK and Dipali Goenka, to be surprised with her entrepreneurial abilities.

“Honestly, it’s all my work. This is my playground. They have their tactics of dealing with situations and I have my own.

People keep saying that I’m born with this spoon and that spoon but I want to create my own spoon,” she says with a laugh. “The idea for a website germinated in my head about five years ago. It took me three years to get the logistics and a team in place and here I am.”.
