Flying Beast Gaurav Taneja secures business deal after Shark Tank India rejection. Guess who said yes?
YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, also known as Flying Beast, has secured a new business deal after failing to get funding on Shark Tank India for his protein brand, Beast Life. In his latest vlog, which appeared to take a dig at the reality show, he docume...

During the video, Gaurav explained his mission to support farmers raising indigenous desi cows. He stated, “You must be wondering why we’re here. Through Rozier, we work with farmers who own desi cows. But there are lots of farmers in our country who aren’t getting accurate value for the milk produced by their desi cows. They’re migrating to other kinds of cows, or buffalo. We’ve committed to creating a community of farmers and educating them about desi cows.”
He further emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous cattle breeds and ensuring farmers receive fair compensation for their milk. “By meeting farmers, we wanted to understand what their pain points are. We wanted to understand why the desi cow population in our country is dwindling. We want to know what we can do for them to encourage them to breed desi cows… Our villages won’t develop only by creating roads, they’ll develop by investing in our farmers,” he said.
Shark Tank India Controversy
Gaurav had appeared on Shark Tank India to pitch his protein powder brand, Beast Life, asking for Rs 1 crore in exchange for a 1% equity stake. However, the panel of investors, or 'sharks,' expressed skepticism about his commitment to the business, noting his multiple ventures. Anupam Mittal, one of the sharks, criticized Gaurav’s approach, saying, “When I started, I was a lot like you. I thought of myself as a star, but when you think of yourself as a star, you think you’re infallible. You can’t allocate time in startups, you have to be there all the time… It’s not that I don’t trust you, but I trust in Indian entrepreneurship, and they have so much energy, so much passion, they won’t let a part-timer like you win. That’s the reason I’m out.”The sharks’ concerns revolved around Gaurav’s divided focus, with some believing he was using the show to promote his brand rather than seeking genuine investment. Despite not securing a deal on the show, Gaurav’s vlog indicates his determination to build and expand his businesses on his own terms.
With over 9 million subscribers on YouTube, Gaurav Taneja continues to leverage his online influence to expand his ventures.
