We’ve all been at the floodgates, where emotions have gotten the better of us. But when you’re in the spotlight, your meltdowns are as public as your picture. Here are a few times when emotions got the better of these stars.

Selena Gomez

At a recent concert, Selena Gomez made it clear that she was not a Belieber when she tore up a fan’s poster that requested her to “Please Marry Justin”. After multiple breakups and hook-ups, it looks like the 23-year-old ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ singer finally knows what she doesn’t want.




Chris Brown

Forget dancing like no one’s watching — Chris cried like no one was. Unfortunately, thousands of fans saw him. It must not be a very good feeling to have an epiphany on stage, especially when it makes you realise you’ve been a complete jerk. But a year after pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna, Brown broke down into tears while singing Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the Mirror’. Maybe get some mirrors at home too, just in case, eh Brown?



One Direction

When Zayn Malik left One Direction, there were a lot of tears. While most were from tween girls around the world, fellow directioner Harry Styles added quite a few to the bucket. The singer couldn’t stop himself at their first concert minus Zayn and he broke down in tears on stage in Jakarta, where had to be comforted by his fellow band mate Liam.



Justin Beiber

​The Canadian singer is apparently on the verge of a public meltdown, after a number of emotionally charged performances in the recent months. He’s told fans to leave him alone on social media and says he feels like a zoo animal. His recent barefoot walk in the park and perching on a tree could have something to do with that, but we think it’s time for his fans to say Sorry now.



Oasis

For the Gallagher brothers, their relationship was the biggest source of friction for the band. The sibling rivalry was clear for everyone to see for years but one of their biggest falling outs was at MTV Unplugged in 1996, where Liam decided to back out of the show, leaving his brother Noel to take over. But while that’s better than bringing a cricket bat to a fight (which Liam actually did in 1995), Liam did make his presence felt at the show by heckling Noel from a balcony.
