Five reasons that make 'Main Aur Charles' interesting

As Main Aur Charles gears up for its date with the audience, the film's team lists five reasons that make it an interesting watch. Inspired by serial killer Charles Sobhraj, the thriller, which is produced by Raju Chadha, Amit Kapoor and Vikram Khakhar, stars Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha, Adil Hussain and Tisca Chopra in pivotal roles.

1) It is Bollywood's first ever film on Sobhraj, aka the Bikini Killer. While his life has interested many a filmmaker, writer-director Prawaal Raman has managed to capture it on celluloid.

2) This movie has been appreciated and authenticated by the convict himself, whom Randeep, Prawaal and the producers met recently at Kathmandu jail. Besides expressing his admiration for the promos, he also autographed the film's poster and wished the team success.

3) The setting takes us back to the era of the 80s and the hippie trail, when Sobhraj conned tourists. The writer-director's detailing and production design are key elements to look forward to.

4) The film has a good dose of intrigue, style and sex, since Sobhraj was considered one of the most suave con men in modern history . Randeep has captured the nuances of his character well.

5) The thriller has an interesting ensemble cast including Saurabh Sarkar, Satyaendra Gupta, Sandeep Punia, Lucky Morani and Vipin Sharma along with international artistes Dijana Dejanovic, Mandana Karimi, Alex O'Neil, Shanti Mei and Anastasia.
