Five K-Dramas to watch in September 2026 on OTT: Made in Korea 2 to The Scandal to The Ordinary Jackpot, more on Netflix, Viki and Prime Video

September is bringing a fresh mix of Korean dramas to streaming, with everything from crime and romance to historical intrigue and fantasy. Some titles return with new seasons, while others introduce unusual stories, making the month an exciting one for K-drama fans. Fans in India and worldwide, if you are looking for something new to add to your watchlist, these upcoming releases are worth keeping an eye on.

Made in Korea Season 2 – Disney+ Hotstar or Hulu

Made in Korea Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ and Hulu on September 9, 2026, with Hyun Bin and Jung Woosung leading the cast in the six-episode final season. The second season picks up nine years after the events of the first instalment. Hyun Bin’s character has moved up the ranks and is now a KCIA deputy director, but his rise in power has not stopped his involvement in an expanding illegal network.


Jung Woosung returns as his rival prosecutor, setting up another tense battle between the two men. The final season will begin with two episodes, followed by two episodes every week. The series will conclude on September 23.

For Indian viewers, the show is expected to be available on JioHotstar, it's not confirmed yet.

The Ordinary Jackpot – Netflix

The Ordinary Jackpot will start streaming on Netflix on September 10, with Lee Jun-hyuk playing Gong Eun-tae, a man whose life changes after he wins 1.3 billion won. Winning a huge amount of money might sound like a dream come true, but the drama takes a different approach. Instead of immediately changing his life, Eun-tae returns to work the very next morning.

The series explores what happens when someone who has spent years worrying about money suddenly no longer has to. His frustrating workplace, demanding colleagues and repetitive routine begin to look different once financial pressure is removed.

The drama mixes comedy with everyday situations, focusing less on the jackpot itself and more on how wealth can change the way a person sees his life.

A Love Other Than Yours – KBS2

A Love Other Than Yours is a new romantic melodrama starring Seo Kang-jun, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Joo-ahn and Jo A-ram, and the 14-episode series premieres on KBS2 on September 12, 2026.

The story follows Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do, a couple who have spent 10 years together. Their relationship has survived several ups and downs, but the couple slowly begins to feel disconnected as the excitement they once shared starts disappearing.

Things become more complicated when new people enter their lives and spark unexpected romantic feelings. The drama explores whether long-term relationships can survive when love begins to feel more like habit than excitement. With Seo Kang-jun and Ahn Eun-jin at the centre of the story, the series is expected to focus on relationships, loyalty and the difficult choices that come with falling out of love.

Four Hands, Two Sonatas – Netflix

Four Hands, Two Sonatas premiered on Netflix on August 29, starring Song Kang and Lee Jun-young as two young piano talents.

The drama marks Song Kang’s first project after completing his mandatory military service. He plays Kang Bi-o, a gifted pianist who has built a reputation around his seemingly perfect performances. His world changes when Choi Jeong-yo, played by Lee Jun-young, joins his elite arts school. Unlike Bi-o, Jeong-yo is a late bloomer but has a natural musical instinct that makes him a serious competitor.

What begins as a rivalry gradually develops into a deeper understanding between the two.

The Scandal – Netflix

The Scandal will premiere on Netflix on September 18, 2026, starring Son Ye-jin, Ji Chang-wook and Nana in the eight-episode historical romance.

The series is a remake of the 2003 film Untold Scandal, which was loosely inspired by the French novel Dangerous Liaisons.

Set during the Joseon era, the story follows Lady Cho, played by Son Ye-jin, a woman whose intelligence and abilities go beyond the restrictions placed on women of her time. She enters into a dangerous game with Cho Won, a notorious playboy played by Ji Chang-wook. Nana plays Hui-yeon, another woman who becomes caught up in their complicated web of deception, forbidden attraction and manipulation.

Dive Into You – Viki

Dive Into You will begin streaming on Viki on September 26, starring Kim Ji-yeon and Jang Se-hyuk as twin siblings caught in a time-travelling fantasy.

The story follows actress Yoon Ha-na and her twin brother Yoon Ha-ru, who discover that an old camcorder can transport them into the past. They use this mysterious ability to try to prevent the death of Ha-na’s first love, Jung Woo-jae, played by Park Seo-ham. The drama combines romance, fantasy and time travel, with the twins risking everything to change the past and save someone they love.
