First look of Anupam Kher’s 'The Accidental Prime Minister' is out, & Bollywood can't wait to see him as Manmohan Singh

The first look of Anupam Kher's upcoming political drama based on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was revealed on Tuesday.

The veteran actor will play Singh in the movie based on a memoir ' The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making and Unmaking of Manmohan Singh', by the former PM's media adviser Sanjay Baru.

The movie is expected to hit the screens in December 2018, just ahead of the next general election in 2019.

The first look of the film was well received, with the industry applauding the casting.
