First-ever Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series comes to India, priced at Rs 5.5 cr
The supercar features the 4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine with a flat crankshaft.

Touted as the most powerful AMG ever, the Black Series sports a 4-litre V8 engine that develops 537 kW (730 hp), enabling the two-door vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in under 9 seconds with a top speed of 325 km/h.
In comparison to the previous V8 engines used in the AMGs, the Black Series comes with a ‘flat crankshaft’ variant of the V8 engine to ensure smoothness and high torque at low rotational speeds. It achieves 537 kW (730 hp) at 6700-6900 rpm with a maximum torque of 800 Nm at 2000-6000 rpm.
The AMG Traction Control has been tailored to enable the driver to get individual support for controlling the Black Series.

Calling AMG GT Black Series an automotive rarity, Schwenksaid that the supercar was the closest proximity to motor racing. "The delivery of the AMG GT Black Series strongly emphasises our commitment towards introducing the most desirable and exclusive products from our global portfolio for performance purists in India," he added.
